To be honest, it only took me 2 days to find the dress. I had a place in mind for the longest time, but I wanted to stay close to home first. Our first stop was at Modern Affinity.
I loved how quaint it was. We were set up to a private room with champagne & water. I had a specific style in mind, but because I had my family & Greg's mom with me, I had an open mind with trying on different selections, but I had 2 I was leaning towards. I'm very much not a fan of deep V's, strapless, or anything with a lot of skin showing, so I definitely was more interested in full covered dresses.
After bookmarking the dresses for the first location, next, my mom, dad, sister, and I headed to Austin to Pronovias. I had fallen in love with so many of their dresses online, so I wanted to try on in person. The shop felt so luxurious and the stylist was super helpful. I ended up not selecting the style I was originally looking for. The stylist was able to accommodate to my concerns about visible skin.
There are details on this dress that I love so much. Greg, of course, hasn't seen it yet, so I can't show it yet, jaja! And the best bit for me is that it's getting custom made in Spain. My next fitting is in July and it can't come any sooner!
