We kept on brand from the wedding to our honeymoon. For Halloween week, we visited New Orleans. We've only gone once before, and always wanted to go back, so this was the perfect time. Also, this was my very first time ever getting on an airplane and flying. I was panicking SO MUCH that morning and during the flight. Thankfully, Greg gave me a Delta 8 Galaxy Treats Gummy to ease my anxiety, or else I would've burst. My heart was still pounding hard and I was scared when we took off. It was so rough because of the weather. I would look over to the other passengers and Greg to gauge if this was normal or not, but I could also see a little bit of panic in Greg's eyes, which freaked me out more. This felt like it went on forever, but thankfully, the trip was only around 30-40 mins, very short. I will never forget this flight and it was amazing to see above the clouds.
For our honeymoon, Greg's goal was to eat all the food they had to offer and I just wanted to sigh-see and relax. Greg booked us the History King with a balcony at the Andrew Jackson Hotel, near Bourbon street. During his research, he found that this hotel was suppose to be haunted because it use to be an all-boys orphanage. People have said that they sighted kids, heard children running around, and found kids' fingerprints on the mirrors. One common occurrence was that people would wake up to photos of themselves sleeping, on their phones. Unfortunately, we didn't experience any of this. We had peaceful nights with spread out distant sounds of other tourists walking the streets, partying.

We enjoyed our time in New Orleans and this time we had a longer time to absorb the city. Greg and I have to come to the conclusion that next time, we'll focus on Harrah's Casino. Between the both of us, we had 3 OPPORTUNITIES to hit jackpot, but we blew it each time! Lunch was not completely on our side. When we finally got close to another chance, we ran out of money, it was so sad, disappointing, but also very exciting.
We'll come back for you, NOLA!
