Greg and I managed to carve out a Date Night for ourselves while also celebrating Cheese Lover's Day. After a full day's work, Greg cooked away in the kitchen and treated us to some lobster and angel hair pasta.
We cozied up on our recliners and enjoyed a movie, Christopher Robin, before breaking out the Cheese Board. We have a new H-E-B closer to us and much bigger that just opened up the this month. When we first visited to get the way of the land, we came across the Charcuterie Board selection and we lost our minds! I had planned to get one of these boards, but unfortunately, so did everyone else.
Greg did manage to get a smaller, simpler one and purchased the cured meats separately. I think he created a great spread!
Fiesta spent her time either napping or trying to beg us to share. Greg couldn't help but give in to her.
Greg: "What?! Look at her face!
Greg decided to stay in comfy clothes, but I still needed to add a little extra to my outfit. My top is actually a Victoria's Secret slip that I tucked into a mini pencil skirt that I found at a thrift shop. To be honest, I didn't wear the boots around, but I just thought they worked well together, I hope.
